I am trying to test the harness on my 2000 XK8 and I cannot figure out how to release the upper connector. It ts the one next to the upper fuse box, drivers side. I have squeezed it and tried to open it and nothing works. Anyone able to get this to release without breaking the 20 year old plastic?

 

It's a bail that you lift away from the module. It's best to disconnect the negative battery terminal before you do so.
