abs module swap question
Can I swap a 2000 XJR ABS module INTO a 1997 XK8?
Can someone confirm if they are compatible?
I did notice the 2000 XJR ABS module has 6 metal lines connected to it.
The 1997 XK8 ABS module has 5 metal lines into connected to it.
The 1997 XK8 has the abs light on + traction failure light.
I just wanted to see if the 2000 XJR ABS module would fix it.
Thanks for thinking about this

You obviously won't be able to use the newer part on your car--different parts. It'll take exactly the same part # that you presently have.
Welcome to Auto Ecu.com in Rogersville will repair your original ABS module for something like $99 plus $15 return freight--and give you a good warranty.
Once I had an ABS question Sunday night @ 11:30 p.m., and they actually answered me in 15 minutes. That was good service. I used them earlier this month, and the part was promptly returned to me.
