ABS, Traction Control Wheel Sensors

While at Discount Foreign Auto Parts in Portland buying brake pads I asked for them to give me a price on the wheel sensors. Their price was $250 for each wheel!! Thought that was a bit on the high side for a magnet.

What is the best price to pay for this item?

I did remove and clean mine and they seem to work fine now.

The parts guide shows $282.00 from jaguar and that could be a old price. $200.00 for the 2003's and up

Yikes! I was afraid of that. This would be funny if it weren't something each of us might someday have to pay for.

Anybody got an old, failed sensor? I'd really like to cut one open. Just a coil of wire, I'll wager.
