Accessory Supply Socket in Boot
it's the Black connector to the right of the photo. Black wire is Ground, Brown/Green wire is permanent live and White/Red is ignition switched live.
For the switched live, you'll need a standard relay in the centre position of the three relay sockets lined across the car in the Trunk Fuse Box and a 20A fuse in F11 of that fuse panel.
For the permanent live there's a 10A fuse in F17 in the Driver's side fuse panel.

Thank you so much astromorg for your detailed description.
Now I realize the Accessory Supply Socket is meant to be used in conjunction with part number C2A1403 Auxiliary Power Socket which comes with various socketed cable harnesses and what is essentially a cigarette lighter socket with spring-loaded cover. I understand C2A1403 is no longer available, so we have to do some wire cutting and splicing.
Just to make a small clarification on the wire colors:
Cheers !

- B Black
- NLG is Brown w/LightGeen
- PN is Purple w/Brown

Sorry about the colours. Early X100s had the colour scheme you describe, but I inadvertently overlooked your 97MY. Apologies for that.
Standard insulated Lucar type connectors will plug onto each of the three terminals in the accessory socket.
