Default Adventures in Cylinder Wash Land

I never thought it would happen to me........Didn't get to drive Faith over the break, family getting hauled around for 4 days shopping and inlaws meant the wife's SUV for the last few days. Go to start her up yesterday and NAADAA....OMG! The car's sick! Last I drove it was a 30 minute highway run....Right???? Wrong! Got pulled out of the garage to get the Xmas tree out of the attic friday, and then stuck back in hours later, barely ran 15 seconds. Turns out cylinder wash is not a myth! But I calmly read through the FAQ's and Gus' page on the issue, took a number of attempts and a charging cycle overnight, but she came back to life! Just in time too cause the wife was getting ready to freak, and my elderly mother who lives with us was starting the "you should have never bought that thing they're just trouble" talk. I will say I greatly encourage anyone who has to deal with this to first try, really try, the "Approved" method of repeated cranking bursts with the pdeal on the floor, it did work but took numerous cycles, and once she coughed I kept lightly feathering the throttle till she staggered to life in a glorious cloud of smoke. Full battery absolute must for this manuver. Betcha I get her warm from now on!!!!!!!!!!

Don't you love the way people like to start telling you what a moron you are for owning one of these?
