Default AI-net/ ipod adapter

Anybody disconnect the cd changer and connect and Ipod adapter to the ai-net connector?

Do a search on that and you'll find some information. From what I remember, it's not nearly as simple as it should be...disconnecting the CD changer and plugging in something else doesn't work.

Yes, a number of us have used the PIE ALP AI-AUX.

Do you have the premium audio and navigation?....it will work on these cars and mute the radio when connected between the navigation unit and the power amp.

If you you have the standard audio the adapter needs to be opened up and a small modification needs to be made with a soldering iron and some wire. It will then work with the CD changer.

In either case, depending on the output level of your Ipod, you may need to use it with a small preamp, like the PAC LD-10 to have it trigger reliably on softer music.
