Default Air Conditioner Leak

Hi All,

I have a leak in the air conditioner system of my 2000 XKR.

All the diagnosis has lead to the culprit being the Schrader valve on the low pressure side. A very simple fix, or so you would think.

The parts stores near here have the part, according to the computer but it is not the right one.

A search of the web plus this forum recommends a valve but it also does not look like the one I had fitted.

Does anyone know if Jaguar changed the part or would the one listed actually fit?
The part number is 8089000070

I always take a Schreader valve with me to the old fashioned auto parts store in town and we look through the 4 Seasons, FJC or Cooling Depot boxes until we find the right part. Sometimes it is a Ford part and sometimes it is something different but the guy always has the part.

I think JEPC has the incorrect part number listed. (MHD7372BA)

You might see if 4 Seasons or Cooling Depot #59335 is what you are looking for.
