Default Air conditioning control module OBD communication

The air conditioning on my 98 XK8 Convertible is not blowing cold. I have researched this on the forum and other places and after hours of checking relays, fuses, refridgerant and pressure switches, I have come to the conclusion that my control module may be faulty. I have zero codes on my scanner and the control panel test shows zero. I repeated the OBD scan with my Foxwell unit and noticed that when I did a module test, the unit did not communicate with the A/CCM. My initial assumption was that my scanner simply wasn't designed to talk to all modules and it attempted to talk, then skipped it. It followed with a message that it couldn't communicate.
My thoughts are now pushing me in the direction of a faulty -A/CCM. Am I on the right track? Do others sucessfully talk to the CCM with their scanners, in particular the Foxwell unit?
Any suggestions are gratefully accepted.
Phil
