Airbag code 17

Airbag code 17
Have the airbag light on showing code 17. 1 flash and then 7. I have had the seat out and have sprayed contact cleaner on connections and no loose cables. I have a spare airbag occupancy sensor. I thought they were in the a pillar and near the central part of headliner. I took the a Pilar cover off but couldn’t see anything there. Am I looking in the correct place?
