Airbag warning light
Hi Guys
Have been through all of this and more with my 1997 XK8 (LHD) - tried everything then in desperation - took it to a Jag Dealer in Hartford Connecticut - who couldn't have been more helpful - they had to retrieve an old Jaguar computer linkup from their bnasement (the new model can't read these older cars) - once connected - their computer instantly diagnosed a blown fuse, which they replaced and I have not seen the air-bag light again. Charged me $150 - which I thought was great considering I was there for around two hours.
Sadly, I cannot remember the fuse number or location - but the reason I am writing this is to suggest you take the car to a Jag Dealer and get it scanned properly. You seem to be replacing a lot of parts and spending a lot of money - much of which may be unnecessary. It shouldn't cost that much to scan - even at dealer prices.
That's my advice for what it's worth - hope you solve your problem.

PS: Fitting a temp delay to get through MOT is not an easy job - the Airbag light is and LED soldered into a printed circuit board - so not straightforward. I was deperate enough at one point to think about this!
