My alarm glass break trips the alarm in heavy rain due to the sensor level too sensitive and think this must have a adjustment with a WDS computer . I have had a look in the options for this car and could not see a adjustment menu so as a temp repair I have reprogrammed dealer option of no glass break system fitted.

Does any member know of a adjustment for the ultra sonic system and if so where in WDS is this to be found ?

Any members use WDS ?

Car is a 12/03 xK8. And WDS is last version about 9/06.

 

Have never seen a calibration function with the WDS, maybe there is something wrong with the sensor/or fitting?

 

Mine has done the same on X308, previous XK8 and current XK8 in very heavy rain or hail.

An infrequent occurrence so I haven't seen this as an issue. Certainly one I'd put up with for the benefit of a genuine glass break alarm rather than disabling it.
