Default All Right Front Lights Out At Once

When I started the car last evening, none of the right front lights were working: high beam, dipped beam, fog, parking, turn signal. Also getting "ABS/TRAC not available." These are on separate fuses, so I'm thinking there must be some wiring harness connection that came apart... or a mouse chewed through a cable.

Anyone see a simple single solution that solves all of these at once?

Thanks loads,
Roger

Roger, Stranger things have happened with a failing battery, whether it's low charge because of alternator problems, or just a dying battery. That's the 1st thing I'd check.

Have you checked for power at the headlight harness plug? Also, check for a grounding issue by using an ohm meter. There are two ground wires in each headlight plug; both should check out to "0" ohms resistance. Anything higher than that indicates a grounding problem and you'll need to track down a disconnected or broken grounding point, (or splice new ground wires to a new grounding point) (speaking from personal experience....).

Bingo! It would make sense that all these components would have a common grounding point, the disconnection of which would cause them all to fail at the same time. I am pursuing your suggestion. Thanks so much.

Indeed, the battery had discharged not long ago, but I was able to put a full charge on it, and it seemed to have recovered without ill effect. It's only 2 years old and I would hate to have to replace it but I understand how dependent the XKR seems to be on having a perfect battery.
