Default Another dumb Bluetooth question

Sorry everyone for another Bluetooth question but I have searched the site and I can't find the answer I'm looking for.
Can I retrofit my galaxy's s4 to my 01 XKR that came with the motoral phone system? If so how do you do that?

I had just typed this answer to someone a few minutes ago in a private mail:

Motorola and Parrot both make excellent Bluetooth phone kits which can interface directly to the phone connector signal under the center console. They are not plug and play, but you can easily tap them in without wiring cutting using about half a dozen Posi-taps and they will play over the factory radio, automatically mute the radio when a call comes in or you make a call, and work with the factory volume control. You will need to add a small control console which can be mounted on the coin tray or (on the steering wheel for the Parrot MKi9000 series with a wireless control unit). See connector RT-1. Figure 17.3 here: http://jagrepair.com/images/AutoRepa.../jagxk2003.pdf. You simply connect the bluetooth unit to power, ground, telephone mute, and telephone audio + and -.

In your case, you want to unplug the factory phone also.

The Parrot MKi9xxx series is the best for 2 reasons:
1. Wireless control unit
2. Dual noise cancelling mic...which is essential to use the phone in a convertible with the top down and get good results.
There are three models from no display, small monochrome display, to a full color display.

As for adding an aux. in for audio streaming, the easiest path is to use the ISimple Tranzit Link that modulates over the FM radio in conjunction with the Parrot.

If you wan the ultimate in audio streaming fidelity though, you will need a direct wired aux in. There was a recent posting about wiring it through the cassette interface in the headunit, and there are postings here about hacking it into the CD changer cable. There used to be plug and play interfaces such as the PIE ALP-AI-AUX and the Alpine KCA-410C, but these are all out of production. Sometimes used units come up on ebay.
