Our models are not the same, obviously. So that advice may well be pertinent to yours. It was not an issue with mine. I was lucky enough to get feedback from WhiteXKR, who not only has a nearly identical model to me, but had also had done the same swap on his without trouble. I trust Steve with the in's and out's of the electronics on these cars a great deal, his experience is well-known.
