Default Another small car show thread...

Well seeing as Dave and Bob both posted their recent show pictures, I might as well include mine.

The Bluewater Austin-Healey Club hosted their second annual show in support of the Salvation Army. Unfortunately the weather was drizzly at times, but still pretty warm. I didn't realize the area had so many Austin-Healeys, MGs, Triumphs and Sunbeams. Oddly, given the amount of XJs and XJSs in town, I was the only Jaguar. I passed three on the way to the show though.

Here's a link to the pictures, unfortunately some of mine are missing. Not sure where they went. Enjoy.

Jared

(If there's a better place for this, it should probably go there)

Jared - the green coupe (?) on photo #64 - I can see a Jag with standard wheels on the right - is that yours?

Nice - the red Triumph (photo #66) is my fave.

Yes that is my green coupe.

I originally drove through in my Camaro.. "Oh, what's going on here?"

"Just a car show for English and other European cars mostly. Feel free to look around"

Dropped the Camaro off, picked up the Jag, took it through a quick wash to get the excess leaves and bird waste off and went back.

"Does this count?" I asked.

"Does it ever! Park in the middle with the rest of the English cars and enjoy!"

Apparently one of the organizers used to have an XJS he was the second owner of and kept it as his Sunday best. It melted on a road trip. The fire department didn't get there in time to save any of it. Apparently the car didn't get the memo that it was a Jaguar and not a Ferrari. The owner laughed.
