How does one get the antenna to go down on my XK8?

Was it working and then it stopped?
Try, car running, cycle the radio on and off a few times. If that doesn't work your going to have to start digging into the area under the antenna in the boot and maybe try to manually power down the thing. I would have to look a the E-Diagram for your year car to help with that. One of the 3 or 4 wires in the plug is the signal for up down. Pushing it down, rather than powering down may cause damage. You don't want that.
