I am trying to install a on/off switch to control my sound system antenna when I am playing CD's or tapes. I have viewed a thread by Paul Pavlik and a How To Video by RevSam. It both threads they splice into a green wire with a black trace in the glove box recess. My dilemma is that Paul uses that color wire located in the white connector and RevSam uses the that color wire located in the gray connector. (See photo below) I have a 1998 XK8 convertible and I am not if both wire accomplish the same thing. I have all the parts so any help will be appreciated.

 

It's essentially the same wire running through two connectors so you can use either. I think IC2 - the white one in Paul's picture - might be easier to get to:
