Hi All, I've recently brought my XK from the east coast to the west coast, which means much more UV exposure year-round.

Amazingly, after 14 years this car has zero headlight hazing. It's mostly been garaged or covered.

Now that it will be out in the world more frequently, with much more UV exposure, I'd like to protect against hazing as much as possible.

I am using 303 fabric cleaner and protectant on the convertible roof, and dri-wash n guard on the body to protect from UV as much as possible.

Could someone please recommend a good way to prevent headlight hazing?

Thanks in advance!

There is really no need, this is one of the few vehicles on the road that still has glass headlights, which do not haze easily.

If you still feel you need it, or want the stone protection look at Headlight Protection Kits | XPEL

Wow, I didn't know the 2002 had glass headlights, very interesting. I was wondering why cars I've owned in the interim hazed quickly, but the xk somehow stayed completely clear.

Some owners mistaken moisture inside the headlight for haze. But, it is glass not plastic.

Ragsdale,
My 2002 XKR with 160K, stays outside every night, is exposed to 100F temperature all summer (and 90's for the last 2 weeks) in the San Fernando Valley, and my headlights are as clear as when new. Glass is the difference, and there really is no need to do anything special.
