I had my seats and console out a couple of weeks ago to recolour. While handling the switches, I noticed it sticking again. I had done the credit card / putty knife thing before. I decided to give it a more through cleaning with contact cleaner from the backside. Comparing spring forces to to other switches, I was able to bring it back to the strength of the others. Here is a pic showing that row of switches loosened from the unit for easy access.

DR, I found the best lubrications switch. WD40, it stays on for a long time.
Oh, just had hip replacement, golf if out for maybe a couple of months. Really looking forward to it.

Be careful with the WD40 and switches its 90% white spirit and 10% SAE 30 oil. I have seen switches burst into flames after being blasted with WD 40

I have put a little fold down tab on the switch . I rescued it from a broken Nikon Camera Vertical grip ..it folds down but allows me to push and pull the switch when it goes mad.
