Since posting my original reply, I did get a vanity plate for the XK8: GGRRRR. In Connecticut, we're only allowed six characters and someone else already had GRRRRR. Certainly hope it was at least another Jag owner!

I feel sorta bad squatting on XJ6 when I doubt I'll ever own another. I was shocked when I first found it available. With all the Jags prowling Connecticut, I assumed it would have been taken already. Too bad I can't sell the plates. DMV would undoubtedly charge me a fee to change to plain ones.

A couple of times I've noticed someone in the car behind me taking a cell phone photo of the GGRRRR plate.

 

I managed to get 05XKR. ...............I met 04XKR the other day at the dealership while I was getting my car serviced.

 

I had in Illinois XKR JAG, but in Wisconsin I have MY XKR. I thought about:

We are a bit limited in the UK as to what you can have as a plate ,

this was the best I could buy at the time .........N1XKO , with a black bolt in the middle of the 0 it looks a little like Nik's XK8 (if you squint)

Mine is pretty basic, as many are already taken. I have "KEVSJAG". I originally was looking at XKR's and wanted "BLOWNXK". Still like that one! One guy here in AZ has a Corvette with "ICULOOKIN". Always liked that one, too!

 

You could try similar to what I had. BLWN XJR or for you, BLWN XKR
