Our XKR is my wife's. It's her toy.

If you are ever in DC, I'm sure she'd love a run...

Ada, MI here.

Hi!

I'm in Southern California for work occasionally but the company car is not a Jaguar.

How do you tell if your XKR is female?

if she purrs most of time, but can get extra temperamental, she is a female...

if your XKR is a smooth talker, and aggressive. it's a male.

The silver kitty belongs to my wife, I'm just the veterinarian.

If you ever find yourself traveling through central Texas (Austin area) I'm sure she'd love to run with you to the various vineyards via some sweet hilly/curvy roads. P.S. I have a couple friends that can play designated drivers after the fourth/fifth stop......LoL

you can say that.....
When I bought it, every thing worked, as I put more miles on her, things are breaking / not Woking at a exponential pace. I'm not eating sour grapes, I'm fixing things as fast as my wallet for parts can afford.

My wife has a 2001 XK8 Conv in Titanium Blue (I believe). Has only about 50K on the clock, she loves the car. We recently moved to the Tampa Florida area from Oregon.

prettybluefin,
Was that your gorgeous silver coupe parked next to my 2010 coupe at the Queen's English Car Show, this morning? I had to leave about 10:30 am and I kept hovering around your car hoping to say hello, but I never saw anyone come back to the car. The silver convertible on your other side was spectacular as well. But your coupe is just magnificent! (If that was yours). I will post pictures later tonight when I get back home. There is something special about the X100 and yours is beautiful.

Did the prior owner maintain it well?
I always say, We have a car that we paid probably 10%-20% of the original price, so figure in at least 20% of the sticker to get it back to great.

Hopefully yours won't take too much more to get it where it needs to be!
Cheers!

I was still in San Clemente, and did not make it back in time to attend the show.

I would have texted you for sure if I was en route.

Mine has the clear front markers, and smoked side indicators. I have not seen another Coupe with that combo...

I hope you had a nice time, can't wait to see pics of my twin

Prettybluefin -- My girlfriend Lisa just took over simonnallen's 2001 XKR, joining our '96 XJR. We're up in SF. She's not a forum member yet (guess who works the wrenches in this relationship...), but I know Lisa would love to join or arrange some events with the local lady drivers. PM my ID to stay in touch.
