Aston Martin Conversion 2001 XKR no reserve on eBay
Given where the bid is this might be interesting for the parts as most everything has been fitted. Not a huge fan of the orange or the hood but the rest looks reasonably well fitted. Detail says he has $40K into this and that's likely, the interior changes alone are likely $10K or more. Anyway check it out. No reserve and the bid right now is at $6,500.

The right side hood .. looks like it has a half inch gap and not closing well. I have seen the conversion kits online. They say its difficult putting it together and getting all your seems lined up correctly.
To each their own, not my cup of tea. From the description I'd guess another 3 or 4 K to actualy finish it plus it has 131K miles so there's likely other issues to sort out. Waste of money....
Is who in their right mind would put $40K into a car with that kind of miles on it? You'd think you'd start out with a later model with a lot less miles on it. You could get a newer, lower Milage DB7 for a ton less money.

Not sure I'd even want parts from that. The vehicle check shows a salvage title in 2009 due to severe damage and then it shows another major accident in 2012......
Didn't bother to touch the engine bay, even to clean it for the pictures. With 131k and sketchy maintenance, I'll pass.
Another case of more money than sense. Should have just bought an Aston to start with.

it looks nothing like any Aston i have seen and there all over the place round here
i like the side profile but the hood looks like someone tried to fit a corvette
one with a hammer n chisel!
and whoever rattle-canned the interior needs a poke in the glands with a forklift

For the life of me, I can't understand why the bids have reached almost $8k for this car...
For that price, one could buy this!

A perfectly good XK8, without a hideous body kit and salvage title.

This Jag, on the other hand is a real temptation. Don't get too excited about the bid amount though as I know they want something like $40K. But still...
