Bought the 1999 XK8 3 yrs ago with a failed mirror. Replaced it January 2022, failed by May, replaced by dealer, failed again today! Is there anyone out there that can reliably repair or replace? This is getting annoying. Have searched threads for repairs but would like current references.

 

There are several threads on this which have been updated in the past week or so, scroll down to find them. The only rebuild solution seems to a business called Radar Mirror, but reviews are mixed:-

The other option is to get a later mirror and re-wire it. The later mirrors use a gel rather than the alien blood liquid used by Donnely.
