Finally received my ebay antenna Saturday in the mail. The replacement antenna is just slightly bigger in diameter at the base. I ended up disassembling both antennas and using the new cord and top section in the old antenna. The top tips are really tight to unscrew.

The hold down nut works this way. Antenna works great. Old cord teeth were worn but nothing else was wrong with it
