Neither can I but I figured why not, it seems cool. The carpet in my car isn't great so this helps that too. I know when on the CorvetteForum, guys would say their wife said no, but idk on here. I'm not married and my BF doesn't give a crap what I spend my money on lol. He spends money on his car, a modded LS460L though. Like a LOT.

If I buy a newer XKR or a DB9, this car has been so good I'd keep it around since it's really only worth about 8-9k (101k miles, but recently repainted, new windshield, redone wheels, etc). So spending a little cash on these, while a kind of dumb purchase, is fine by me.

I received a reply to my email this morning, a 1 day turnaround (a-ok by me that's plenty good!):

Thank you for reaching out to us. I apologize for any inconvenience. I will check the shipping status for you. I will let you know once I receive the response on your shipment status within the next 2 business days.
I checked the sheet again and no ship yet. I hope I get it sometime next week. I'm off for all next week and it would be cool to play around with these.

Well let's close this one up. Apparently the X100 wasn't a big enough demand. If they didn't get enough interest in it from us, they've known for a bit and I should have had a refund a while ago. I'm posting so if anyone researches them, they know that the X100 platform ain't gonna get this.

I guess now I have $360 for better things lol.

This whole thing smacked of a scam to me..they wanted advance commitment before hey committed to their cheap Chinese supplier to make the mats. No real company just a broker skimming off the sale.

I figured it was worth a try, a friend had some mats similar to these in his car (quattroporte) and they looked really nice.

I work with middlemen like Grainger all the time. If you're going to literally do nothing more than be a broker, at least communicate worth a crap.

If you still need floor mats, I recommend the Lloyd brand. They are plush, they look great, they fit better than any OEM Jaguar mat, and they are very affordable. I've had them in my wife's 2006 XK8 for more than four years. They still look and feel brand new....

All good comments. Mine? Well I think I will just sit back and watch. New companies have a strange way of disappearing overnight and well, these people may be all on the up and up--as I'm sure they are, but just the same.

For the kind of money they want for their product, product pictures of all cars they cater too would help and satisfied customers a must. Comments like 80srule doesn't help. Hope the refund comes through...

WeatherTech might be another solution, but when calling them I found out they don't make them for Jaguars.....at least for the XJ8. I didn't ask about the XK8 series. Still----even those would look out of place in my XK8 or XJ8--sort of "off Roadsies"

Cheers

Here's what they posted on Kickstarter that I didn't notice but is there now:

I just checked my credit card website and I do not see the refund yet. I will keep posting here until I either get it or contact my credit card company. I posted my experiences here so that if others research in the future, they can see my experience as it was, whether positive or negative.

The biggest thing is not getting personal but rather posting source material and letting others form their own opinions so it doesn't devolve into a forum based pissing match. I just think they didn't have enough demand or the availability of a car to make a mold for my model.

I have not been issued a refund, but have reached out via Kickstarter to the vendor. Hopefully this can be resolved easily!

I ended up having to go the route of a credit card dispute. I have been issued a conditional credit from Citibank and have to provide the information that I have posted here and anything else I have.

I would also file a complaint with the consumer affairs section of the Attorney General's office in the state where this so-called business is headquartered. They usually have a toll-free number you can call. A little googling will locate it. Wouldn't hurt to notify that state's Better Business Bureau, either....

It's looking more and more like you just flat-out fell for a scam....

This is a project that could've easily been done with more effort/interest with the kickstarter campaign. A few mock ups would of been enough to get most people on board. But when things get done half a$$, nothing gets done.

Great deal! Had those mats on my old 911, looked new even after a year. The smell was an issue though , ended up tossing them. If you're not sensitive to the rubber smell, those seam to last longer than the oem mats

I installed a front set of Lloyds Ultimats in my wife's 2006 XK8 in the late summer of 2012. They never smelled bad and they still look, feel, and wear like new. Superior product for a very reasonable cost. $67 on Cyber Monday with free shipping was a great deal indeed....

Some people are less sensitive to the smell, it's stronger in hotter climates. In colder climates like Seattle, it probably wouldn't be noticeable at all.
