Default Back in Europe

Hey Guys,

I finally graduated MIT! I abandoned my XK8 in Chicago while I work in Switzerland again this Summer. I start up at Harvard in August. PhysicsGirl

My ABS module fix is still working well. The only maintenance issue this year was someone running her low on fuel and then clogging the fuel filter doing a steep climb and decent at OHare's main parking lot spiral--she limped home. After buying the generic filter suggested on this list and following your instructions, she is back to normal--an $8 repair.

As to the lurch issue currently discussed, mine has never liked an aggressive deceleration followed by a slow roll (non-stop) and then a sudden acceleration. It is a non-issue with mine if you come to a full stop or decelerate gently into a slow roll, anticipating the light turning green. Chicago now has counters on most of their lights, so you know exactly when you are going to get the green. :O)

I cannot thank this list enough for all your tips, esp. as to which top fluid to use, how to program new keys, the windows, etc. I have now owned my XK8 for 4 years.

Thank you all!

Sabrina

I'm we are all looking forward to hearing about your jag again at the end of the summer. Is it being used occasionally or in storage?
