Took a ride along the Maine Coast to Bar Harbor last weekend it was a great ride I had to take a few pic's. First two are overlooking the harbor and the last one is at Thyua Gardens in Southwest Harbor ME.

This is a re post I am still figuring out how to maneuver the forum.

Bar Harbor/ Acadia National park are the best. Just back myself 2 weeks ago. Stayed in an Inn Norhteast Harbor. Biked the carriage roads built by the Rockerfellas. You need to try this sometime. Lunch on the lawn at Jordon Pond. Lunch with a magnificent view of two mountains with a Pond ( lake ) inbetween.

 

I call my co-pilot my eye candy :-) and she loves touring with me around New England. Thanks.

 

We've been going up to Bar Harbor for the past several years now my son is a chef at a local dining establishment give us a nice excuse to drive the coast, you are correct Jordon Pond is a must.
