Hi, Can the battery be charged whilst still fitted to the vehicle, it's a pain to remove it from the boot space. Any info much appreciated. Thanks ADE.

charger leads on the battery only.do mine now and again. no problem

 

You might want to keep the 'boot' (over here it's the trunk) If I got that right open or at least partially open. There's the potential for fumes to be generated with charging system that you'd like vented.

I purchased a new premium battery about 9mo's ago and got a BATTERY TENDER brand 2amp charger that I have connected to the battery terminals and come up through the cover. when im done for the day, I plug it in and always have a green light the next day or next time I drive. this will yield the best endurance for your battery. i'm always happy when I see that green light (full charge).


that thing was $29 at the time...auto zone.
