Default Best paint for area under battery?

I have noticed that the paint under my battery has become flaky due to battery acid leakage over the years, so I would like to re-paint it. I'm thinking about using RustOleum spray paint. I also have RustOleum brush-on paint, which might go on thicker... would that be better? Or does anyone have any other recommendations?

No matter what paint I go with, I'll sand it down to rust-free bare metal, apply rust converter, then primer and then finally paint.

I have utilized Rustoleum brush-on paint in the under-the-battery area of a previous vehicle. It held up quite well as the years passed by. As you know, the key is to achieve proper surface preparation before applying the paint....

I recommend Rust Bullet paint that can be purchased on Amazon, it's expensive but holds up better than POR 15.

I just ordered a quart, it sounds like exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks for the tip!
