I'm in the process of gathering everything I need to restore the front of my car to the factory height. I saw a thread several weeks ago and someone had replaced bushings, everything actually and had mentiond an aftermarket shock that came with the lower bushing.
I've ordered the top mounts, debating the springs tho due to costs. But if that's what I need, I'll get them. My front is about 1 1/2" too low.
Any shopping list of parts would be helpful!

 

If I remember from your posts, this is not needed as a daily driver. So I would get it up in the air with wheels off and take a look. With 1 1/2" drop I'm thinking you need upper shock mounts and coil springs. You are only going to gain ~1/2" with top shock mounts. Shocks are a factor, but springs have more to do with ride height.

However, while you have it up (jack stands or lift) take a look at all the bushings. Rubber wears out and deteriorates in all cars. And you're already there, so...
