Car completely dead
My car is completely dead. I took my car into the dealer about 2 weeks ago and they replaced the door module becaus my doors wouldn't lock. Afterwards the car seemed fine. Then I left town for about 10 days and didn't use the car. Upon my return, I tried to open the car with my remote transmitter and it wouldn't work so I manually opened the driver's door and put the key in the ignition and the car was completely dead. Plus I have a 2001 XK8 convertible so the windows won't lower so I can close the doors now. I have not checked the battery yet. What do you think?

RE: Car completely dead
Should be one that meet the CCA of the car A N D have a gas vent outlet to connect to the vent hose in order to vent the hydrogen gas. Sorry, I didn't have time to look up the CCA specs.
I looked at a dozen cars this Summer and about half of them did not havea gas vent battery. It is there so as to not blow your trunk lid completly off.
