My cats has been uun plugged, the cpu is in the trunk, Bilsteins are on and she rides great!

To me it rides as a GT should. it is not firm, for some it may be to soft if you like that hard feel.

It HS cornering it absorbs bumps quickly and to me, feel more secure

You can also have them re-valved to make them stiffer.

Thanks Cerberus. did you have to do anything besides unplugging the old cats and installing the Blisteins? Just making sure I am not missing anything important regarding the "cpu is in the trunk" part - which I didn't understand.

Regards
Stuart

Any good reseller off Bilstein shocks in your country would be able to help you, so just write a few.

I'm in need of new rear shocks, should I replace mine with the more expensive CATS option, or simply go for regular Bilsteins? I don't track my car, and prefer ride quality over handling.

CATS actually improves ride quality imo, so I would not go for non-adjustable ones.

You can also have the stock ones re-valved/refurbished as long as they don't leak, then they are as new again.

Do you know anyone around in Europe who refurbishes shocks? It could be an option for me, since the Jag is not my daily driver.

Here is a list of German companies you can ask. Normally most expert shops can do this, so not only refurbish to stock, but also change the firmness.

HS is high speed cornering.

All you have to do is disconnect the module.
