The links are on the page - I'm sure you can click them yourself! I don't know why this is so difficult, but I'm out. I've tried to help, but there's a limit.

I've been everywhere using google and I can't see these bolts available enywhere.
I think you are seeing a different website to the sites I see. If you give me a link I can go there myself. Its not difficult and won't take any time at all. Please?? Thanks.

Sorry for the break but I'm cleaning the inside of the replacement fuel tank for my XK.

Yes, thanks but that is not a link! This is a link....Click on it and it will take you to where I have been. If you copy the line in the task bar you are using and past it on here, I can go where you are looking at where the parts are available.

I don't understand what you mean. My link and your link both go to the same place. Click on 4, for instance, add a quantity and click 'add to basket'. Not sure what the problem is.

It could be that you are looking at part 8 and I'm looking at part 4 which is not availabe anywhere.

I posted a graphic of me adding part 4 to the basket about an hour ago! How are you not able to do the same?

Well I'll tell you what I'm doing on this parts site.
Click on the link I posted earlier. It goes to the site.
Click on part 4 on the list.
Then "to vin 27515
Then JZS100150
Then "add to basket"
Then to checkout
It then displays C2C34714 @ £2.68 each. That is not the part I want. The part I want is JZS100150
Also, I mailed them four days ago. They replied saying they would be in contact with me in 48hrs. Not had anything so far. Tried phoning them. No answer.

C2C34714 is the current part number - JZS100150 is what the original part number was, but it's been superseded by four others. It even specifically tells you on the page!

All those "superseded" part numbers are not available and are the wrong parts. The one ending 172 is a bolt for the bars under a convertible.
Anyway, I have at last had a result regarding these bolts from a dismantler who is sending me a complete bolt set for £20 incuding the postage.

Many thanks to everyone on here who have contributed to my search.

?? The superseded part #s show as not available because they have been superseded! The supersession list just shows the evolution of the part over time, and the most recent is the correct current one

Some parts are used in multiple locations on the car (and across models), so Heritage's description may vary. I've encountered this a few times and it can be a tad confusing.

Glad you finally got there.

Thanks. It was a bit of a task I must say. There are a lot of suppliers out there that sell a lot of bolts and most are in love with stainless steel. I mailed all of them and most of them replied but didn't sell any of the required bolts or any usable alternative.
The Classic Jaguar website needs a bit of fettling I think. There are a few different ways to enter the site and you often get different results depending on what link you enter the site with. They list all the supposed "superseded" part numbers but when you click on them they end up to be a completely different part and not available anyway. And that goes for all the parts on that list. Interesting that they have some "not available" parts listed on ebay but at completely daft prices.
As far as the pan-head screw JZS100150 goes. That bolt is not used anywhere else on an XK8 and is not listed under any other part number. Jaguar have them up at £27 each but they don'thave them. I sent them a mail which they acknowledged saying they would contact me within 48hrs but they never repied.
This problem goes for most of the parts on the X100 so I would advise that when you see parts available anywhere at a reasonable price (particulaly modules) that you buy them and put them in your store. Particularly if you intend to keep the vehicle. Good hunting to everyone.

For the benefit of anyone else that struggles with the Jaguar Classic site, where there are a succession of part numbers listed it is only ever the last in the list that is currently available, and they are always the correct part, regardless of any slight chances to the description. There is no point trying to order a part number further up the list because they have been superseded.

Struggle. I'll say. So the part JZS100150 has been superseded by the short-list that's ringed in yelo in posr 31?
The last part number on that list is C2C34714. That bolt as far as I can see is one that holds the engine mount to the engine block and is not 85mm long.
Really, I've no idea why that bolt should be mensioned as superseded part in relation to a 85mm pan-head torx head bolt. Don't just look at the list, actually click on each part number and see what you get....The wrong part!
Perhaps I'm missing something here? Wouldn't it be better to explain things eather than shoot the person that doesn't understand how this website works? After all we are all here to help others, aren't we?

Superseded parts are the standard way to handle this?
How can you update parts if this you don't this?
