British Bash Louisville
Okay, finally getting the chance after two weeks to post some pics of the British Bash in Louisville. This charity event is held every year in June at St. Joe's Orphanage in Louisville, Kentucky. The exhibition provides a fine array of vintage British makes and each vehicle is displayed by the owner who will often willing have long chats about British motoring. Perhaps the best free event in town where you can up close and personal with each and every vehicle (may be even better than Thunder Over Louisville).
I chatted with the owner of this champagne XK8 from Tennessee. Included among his list of mods are a pair of Mina exhausts, aftermarket intake, wide tires & rims, and drilled brake discs. The rims & rubbers were WIDE, no spacers.
He noted he could inexpensively source the tires and rims. If anyone's interested, I can share his contact info through PMs.

I had a yellow Europa like the one in the pic when I was 19, it caught on fire while I was driving, slammed the brakes and bailed out going maybe 15MPH, watched it jump the curb, hit a house and go up in a ball of fire. I loved that car, but I think it tried to kill me.
Looks like a great turnout, appreciate you sharing the pics from the show. I dig the old XKEs, as I'll never probably see one in person. I love seeing all the history of jaguar in one spot. I can just feel the nostalgia just oozing from your photos. hope it was a nice day for everyone.
