Default Budget Scanners OBD2

Anyone have experience with "ANCEL LD700 All System Diagnostic For Land Rover Jaguar OBD2 Scanner Code Reader" or "AUTOPHIX 7310 All System OBD2 Scanner for Jaguar"?
They are under half the prices of an iCarsoft v3.0 (or 2.0). Any other sub $100 products worthy of consideration? I want to read and translate as many codes as possible and be able to reset basics.
Thanks.

you can get the icarsoft LR v1.0 for less than the 2.0 or 3.0 models. Those later models have functions that are superfluous for our old jalopies .

The v 1.0 is what I use on my 2002 XKR. It does the basics you mention and then some.

Thanks, zray. Decided to jump on the bandwagon for future diagnostics on our ‘99 XK8. Good deal NIB found on eBay.

Hi
My icarsoft LR v1.0 has arrived.
…. Just a quick check if I may , ( I am new to vehicle diagnostics) , is there any thing I should be aware of , or is it all fairly foolproof ?
Shall be chasing down an occasional ABS fault.
thanks

I will get my LR v 1.0 in front of me in the morning and then post the procedure that has been working best for me. It’s not entirely intuitive, but that may just be my take.

There are some modules that this unit can read but will not clear the faults on. Does anyone else get that? BPM and SLM for instance. there are a few others too which SDD wont pick up so I find it curious that the handheld can but cant clear faults.

Many thanks !
Thats where I bought the item from. Was getting too narrow just searching for XK8 tutorials.
I will try the tool tomorrow.
Seems fascinating level of info available , yet also a little intimidating!
