I am trying to track down a couple of new Densos, but encountered something curious. Several places are selling this part LCA1510AB as Lucas branded.
Does this surprise you? I thought jaguar was 100% Denso by the time the X100 came out. Though as I type i realized for all I know, they used this coil on the XJS.
After owning a 1980s XJ6 let's just say the word Lucas is scary:-). If you have experience or opinion. Would you buy new Lucas or used Denso?
I'd prefer new over second hand, so I'd likely just buy one of the Lucas-branded parts to try out. Heritage & David Manners are showing no availability of OEM part.
Lucas is owned by Elta these days (I think) but no idea who actually makes them.
