C2P1823 rearview mirror wiring question, 2005 XKR

I am trying to upgrade the standard rear view mirror on my 2005 XKR (with Navigation) to one that has the built in compass feature. I was told that the needed part number was C2P1823. I received one that was off of a 2005 XK8 (no navigation), with the compass window: however it does not have the same female wiring plug(s). It has a singular 6 pin female plug. My current non compass mirror has two (2) female plugs, one with 3 wires and one with 5 wires.
I am in contact with another supply yard that took a compass mirror off of a 2005 XKR and it too only has the singular 6 pin female plug.
Does anyone have any advise on how to proceed, or info on the 3 pin plug?

Welcome to the forums Ron,

As you haven't posted an Intro in 6 years of membership, I thinks that's a reasonable opening line.

I've moved your question from General Tech Help to XK8/XKR forum. Members here with the same model should be able to help with the wiring and compatability of the mirrors.
