Does anybody know what the last 2 letters in the Jaguar convertible hydraulic pump model number stands for?

The original part in the car was a HJD 8225-AB but I can't find any of those available. I found 3 HJD-8225-AC pumps which I'm assuming will work as most Jag parts are interchangeable but I just want to make sure as I already wasted my money on a HJA 8225-EE that did not work.

In this case the suffix change was backward compatible. As I suggested to this member your better off 'try before you buy."

 

These are the guys who made the pumps ... Power-Packer Europa - home ... so they should be able to tell you for sure.

 

Thanks for the help guys! Unfortunately I haven't found anyone that wants to let me try there pump... volunteers?

I have contacted power-packer and am waiting on a response back.

Does anybody else on Jaguar Forums know anything about these pumps?
