Default Can this tool view upper tensioners

Hi,

Would this digital inspection camera be able to view the upper tensioners through the oil hole?
Any thinking of trying this without removing the cam?
Thanks for considering.

Maybe if you got lucky enough to thread it to a position where you could see if they're metal or plastic it would be helpful. Lots of stuff in the way, but???

You could probably get a look at the left bank tensioner, but not the right. But truthfully, it will be better to pop off the cam covers so you can also get a look at your timing chain and general condition of the upper engine.

Nice. Lots of ways to misuse something like that.

no, not through either and you would need to snake around to not only view the top f the tensioner but the front too for cracks. you know it only takes 10 mintues to pull either cover to inpect
