Anyone have a recommendation for a good car cover fitted for an XK8 ? Looking for something that perhaps has two layers with a soft inner layer, and outer layer that breathes but sheds water, ideally of course UV resistant. Something that is suitable for weather exposure, not just a garage dust cover. Need to move my XK8 out of the garage for about 4 months or so.

I've been very satisfied with the "NOAH" fitted covers from Covercraft Pacific. I have them on both my Corvette and XKR. They're not cheap, but like everything else, you get what you pay for. Custom Fit Car Covers - Covercraft Industries Pacific

They're made in Australia, but sold through Autogeek in the USA and probably other suppliers as well. However, since they are made to order there is usually a 3-4 week wait.

 

Both good recommendations. I have a nice cover for my Corvette from California Car Covers, but ended up ordering the custom fit Noah from Covercraft for the XK8.
