Default Car Seat Electrical Problem

My seat does not work to move it with the knobs and the seat heater does not work. I think that there is a module under the seat that may have had something come loose from it.

Is that what it is? How hard is this to fix?

Swap the module from the passenger seat to either confirm failure or eliminate it. Its 2 10mm nuts on each side of the module to remove. And you dont have to remove the seat

Thank you Brutal! I'm glad to know the seats do not have to come out.

In a lot of cases the modules can be repaired by someone who is halfway decent with electronics.

My XKR had the same issue, thet seat was completely dead, except for the lumbar pump. When I saw it was going to be a couple hundred bucks for a replacement module, I spent an hour and fixed it myself.

If you'd like me to take a crack at yours you can send it to me and I'll see what I can do.

Andy,

Thank you for that offer! Right now my car is in a garage getting another
engine. I've asked the tech to look at it. If we find out the module is faulty, I may be buzzing you!
