Here is the knob. It's a better shape than the stock knob, and black. I probably paid too much for it, but it definitely fits with the rest of the motif.

The all leather steering wheel is fantastic. It's a bit thicker, so it's more substantial to grab onto, and just feels better in my hands. I'm super happy with it.

here is my wood fascia wrapped with 3m textured matte vinyl. I love it. in daylight, the color is dark gunmetal grey. at night it looks black.
the wood on the wheel got wrapped...until I find an all leather wheel, yours is great!

I don't understand why they didn't use darker wood stain on the Black Xk's, it would have looked better I think. On my XJr I swapped 98 wood for my 01 wood because the darker looked so much better.

the darker dash makes me a million times happier, so that's all that matters

I do love Jaguar wood, but not with black leather. it's stunning with the lighter leather interior, though!

I have the handling package with brembos, and would never put red on the calipers either...on black cars it looks great! but on green, platinum, blue, the red looks really jarring to me.
( mine are painted dark silver).

wood and black,. red and platinum grey, not my favorite color combo at all.

I tried to find a secondary set of wood to strip and stain ebony, but it was impossible. this wrap has a brushed metal texture, I love it.

Looks good. On mine, the wood went very blonde and milky, too. I agree that a very dark brown or darker wood would be fine in a black interior car. But the lighter stuff just doesn't go.

The cool thing about the vinyl is that it is pretty cheap, easy to do, lots of options, and you can always change it in 6 months if you wanted to.
