The cat is out :)
Finally finished my over winter maintenance work and got her on the road again ...just in time for some late snow flurries
New:
Transmission pan/sump and Mercon SP
Coolant header tank
Octopus hose
Water pump
Serpentine belt
Radiator hoses
Front rotors and pads ( back brakes were fine )
Real gauge kit including oil gauge
Wind blocker
Drivers door switch pack
Rear tires
Manual latch conversion for convertible top
I'm going to ask my local indy mechanic ( known him for 35+ years ) to top up the AC and drain and refill the differential ( it should be slightly easier to access on a lift than from a creeper )
I'm a happy old guy today.....and my wife is happy too ...she loves the XK8

Good to see you haven't been wasting the time. That was some 'to do' list!
I don't just get my AC topped up - I have it flushed, pressure tested and then refilled with the correct weights of refrigerant and PAG oil.

I forgot to add new spark plugs and VVT solenoid seals
Redeye....the rotors were Raybestos. I got them from a Canadian Company ...WrenchMonkey........the rotors themselves cost more than from SNG Barratt or RockAuto but the shipping from the US or UK is outfarkinglandish !!!!! plus there was no import duty so they ended up being a lot cheaper in the end ( $95 cdn each )
