Has anyone had to replace the lighter in their XK? The green plastic retaining clip in mine is broken~is there a Ford PN for this or am I heading to my local Jaguar dealer? Center console is out waiting for a new lighter!

The housing (not just the green section but the whole insert - LJA2720AA) turns up on Amazon (UK) and eBay (UK). Could be worth a search on the main US sites to find something closer to you.

Hi Graham thanks for the response and the pn. No luck finding one on ebay or amazon, local Jaguar dealer has one for $53CAD so might be heading there unless I can glue all the bits together!!

 

Managed to put together all the little pieces of green plastic with crazy glue and scotch tape! Wasn't quite round enough to go through the hole in center console, but a little persuasion with the Dremel and and the job is now done! Cigar lighter works (don't smoke though!) illumination works and I saved $53 plus the tax. Feeling good.
