I have a 1998 XK8. The cover for the cigarette lighter on the center console wont latch closed. Any suggestions on how to repair the cover so it stays closed. I haven't detected any type of latch so I'm thinking there must be some kind of locking mechanism inside the center console which the cover decends into. Help please.

 

I found the answer in another post. I think I'll go the velcro route or maybe a magnet latch.
