Anyone know if the cigarette lighter can be removed without removing the entire console? (I know its not that hard, but I'd rather not do it )

 

I've been in/under that console a few times, mainly to disconnect the cigarette lighter during the stereo upgrades, and I think it will most likely be secured from underneath its housing. I'm not positive, but think you'll have to pull the whole thing out and get under its belly. Not too difficult, just lots of parts to remove.
