Ask on here. General Chat
You would probably get more replies. It is more of a English than USA forum than this one.

Not that there is anything wrong with this site of course.

Darren Do you have a smartphone? If you have an Android phone you need a Bluetooth If you have an iPhone you need WiFi. https://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_sb...D2%2Caps%2C292 Here is the Amazon UK site that lists them all. This plus a 5 pound program will do everything you need. I use Dash Command for the iPhone Everyone with Android seems to use Torque. If you are going to buy the car you will need a reader. Just a guess from the pictures there is probably a bad brake switch or wheel sensor causing the fault shown.

Hi Guys
I need to get one of these to look at a code on my xk8. Lots of them seem to state that they work on 2001 cars forward.
Can any of you point me at a reader that will work with my 1997 XK8 please?
Many thanks
Wayne

If you have a android phone you can download the Torque Pro app for like 5 bucks or so then order off ebay the ELM327 blue tooth adapter for about 10 bucks?. If I recall OBDII started for all cars in the US anyway in 1996. This device can then be used on MULTI cars.
