Everything was fine but when I took my 2002 XKR out for a little spin today I got a restricted performance and P0171, P0174, and P1111 codes. I await the benevolent Jaguar Overloards to impart their wisdom. Thanks,

Mark

I'm no overlord but according to JTIS:
1111 - System check complete (this code should be there)
0171 - Bank 1 lean
0174 - Bank 2 lean

potential causes:
Intake leak
misfire
fuel filter clogged
fuel pressure regulator
low fuel pump output
HO2S wiring fault
Exhaust leak before catalyst
ECM receiving bad data from one of the following: ECTS, MAFS, TPS, IATS

Since this is the same failure on 2 different banks I would check the stuff in bold first as it would logically affect both banks. I would think the non-bold stuff would typically only affect one bank unless you had 2 simultaneous failures.

I had both fuel pumps fail a little over a month ago and they were replaced by the Jaguar dealer in Jackson, MS. I also had the s/c inlet and outlet ports bored out about 10 months ago but have only driven is perhaps 1500 miles since the s/c work. I guess either of these could be the cause.

I would check your air intake pipe from the filter box to the throttle intake for cracks or a clogged air filter first.

Start by carefully cleaning the MAF sensor. See if that helps. Check the Air intake for cracks.

...could also be a throttle body gasket. Lots of places to check, but a can of TB cleaner, the scanner monitoring live STFT data, and you'll find it in no time. Be methodical, and patient, however.

+1

Hook up the monitor and start spritzing. If there is a vacuum leak of any size at all, you will find it, guaranteed.
