Common areas for water egress in headlamp housings?
My passenger side headlamp housing is increasingly taking on more drops of water on the inside of its lens - condensation, not a pool - with every rainstorm it's caught out in or a car wash. Driving or while idle. I haven't extracted the thing yet, but wanted to see if there were any common points of entry that develop here first.

The problem would be self-solving if it egressed rather than ingressed.
I've always suspected the sealing between the Headlamp Shell (item 1) and the Lens (item 2) is the point of entry.
The Access Cover (item 3) is usually a tight fit and the condensation can be alleviated by drilling a small hole in it. Another 'solution' is to fit the Jaguar vent kit but even this doesn't completely resolve the issue.
I'm pleased to find Jaguar finally solved it with the later XK model. In three years and some heavy rain, there's never been any condensation in the headlamps on mine.

Argh, that's what I get for posting past my bedtime!
I was also thinking the 'main seal' as it happens stationary or in-motion. I also noticed the fender liner cover is loose and may be contributing as well, so I'll check the rear access cover as well. I'll have more time to tear into this next month.
