Default Water Pumps

Can anyone tell me which water pumps stocked by either Supercheap Auto or Repco are suited to the Series 2 engine as replacements for a leaking pump?
A model or serial number if possible.

The water pump is peculiar to the XK engine as first made in 1948. Later pumps had large impellers and there were one or two changes to the casting shape to suit later cars. You can buy replacement seal and bearing.

Fraser ~ by 'replacement seal and bearing' are you suggesting I repair the existing pump's leak rather than replace the unit?

I have looked at them many years ago, and came to that decission then, and see no reason to change that decission.

I have always got mine from JagDaim, including the V12 units.

They will need to know the V groove number on your pump pulley, and the "snout" diameter and length. That is from my memory as it has been a very long time since I needed one.
